The St.
Augustine/Tuorla University Project is a facility at UWI, St.
Augustine, comprising a Meade LX200/16” telescope and Apogee CCD
imaging equipment.
Established in 2000 with the
support of Tuorla Observatory, Finland, SATU represents the most
advanced instrumentation for direct astronomical observation available
in Trinidad.

The Sea, Earth
and Sky observatory (SEAS) at Arnos Vale, Tobago is the first true
observatory in Trinidad & Tobago. Situated high on a hill away from
debilitating light-pollution, SEAS is equipped with a Meade LX200/12”
telescope, SBIG ST-V CCD imaging equipment and an internet connection
that permits remote operation and imaging from anywhere in the world
